One of the main purposes of the institution is the vocational integration of mentally disabled persons into the society they are member of, taking into account their possibilities. Like this, in the same way education is focused on the individual needs of the students. The institution wants to encourage this young people to get integrated into the labour market, once finished school.

Per aquest motiu es va posar en funcionament l'any 1969 el CET Special Work Center was intended to introduce these integration needs into the labour market for people with disabilities.

AMPANS also encourages the integration of mentally disabled persons into common companies, through vocational training courses or supported employment, offering them a professional help by means of vocational integration training programs including the following topics:

• Preliminary training for people with disabilities
• Work training in different COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES
• Initial coaching on workplace to re-ensure a successful training
