AMPANS is a public non-profit organization founded in 1965 by a small group of concerned parents who wished to provide a public and social dimension to mentally retarded persons and promote their general social integration.
With over 40 years of experience, the mission of AMPANS still consists in providing a better quality of life for mentally retarded persons and their families, creating and managing centres, services or supports; all based on efficiency and effectiveness related criteria.
All AMPANS performances are based on a value profile which made the company a Catalan reference entity in management of services for mentally disabled persons:
